During operation, the noise generated is also very significant, especially for older units, where the noise impact can extend throughout the entire plant area. So, how can noise control be implemented for steam turbine generator units? Solutions include using steam turbine enclosures, steam turbine soundproofing (acoustic) enclosures, insulation enclosure covers, and steam turbine cosmetic panels. I. Issues to Consider in Steam Turbine Noise Control

1. Soundproofing: Select appropriate soundproof panels, soundproof doors, and accessories to ensure the steam turbine soundproof enclosure meets noise control requirements.

2. Ventilation: Gas turbines are significant heat sources. When adding a soundproof enclosure, consider installing a ventilation system to exhaust heat outdoors. The ventilation system should include electrical control equipment to monitor its operational status.

II. Overall Quality Requirements for Steam Turbine Enclosure Projects

1. After project completion, the overall quality of the steam turbine enclosure, steam turbine soundproof (acoustic) enclosure, insulation enclosure cover, and steam turbine cosmetic panel must comply with relevant national, industry, or standard specifications and meet the requirements agreed upon in this agreement.

2. When the ambient temperature does not exceed 25°C, the enclosure temperature should not exceed 50°C. When the ambient temperature exceeds 25°C, the difference between the external surface temperature and the ambient temperature should not exceed 25°C.

3. Corrosion resistance must comply with the GB2086-2006 standard, ensuring no discoloration or deformation.

4. The steam turbine enclosure, steam turbine soundproof (acoustic) enclosure, insulation enclosure cover, and steam turbine cosmetic panel must be installed firmly and reliably.

5. The layout should be reasonable, tight, neat, and aesthetically pleasing.

6. Noise must be significantly reduced, with at least a 6 dB reduction after installation.

7. Made from cold-rolled steel plates: The enclosure dimensions are 12000mm × 9000mm × 3000mm (customizable). The main columns and beam framework of the enclosure are constructed from rectangular square steel, connected with high-strength bolts in an assembled structure. The design of the main columns and beam framework should avoid the bearing seats of the steam turbine generator unit to prevent interference with bearing maintenance. The four walls of the enclosure are assembled from steel structure soundproof acoustic panels, with the outer walls made of cold-rolled steel plates no less than 1.5mm thick and internal panels made of 1.0mm cold-rolled steel plates.

8. The steam turbine enclosure, steam turbine soundproof (acoustic) enclosure, insulation enclosure cover, and steam turbine cosmetic panel include 4 soundproof doors with observation windows. The doors should open flexibly and close tightly.

9. The lower part of the enclosure's four walls should have an appropriate number of air inlets (soundproof ventilation openings, with area determined by the bidder).

10. The top of the steam turbine enclosure is made from perforated plates, with lifting rings installed for easy hoisting. Six low-noise fans are installed for forced exhaust and heat dissipation. The interior is equipped with a full set of LED lighting facilities to facilitate inspections by maintenance personnel inside the cosmetic panel enclosure.

15. The steam turbine enclosure, steam turbine soundproof (acoustic) enclosure, insulation enclosure cover, and steam turbine cosmetic panel must be factory-processed for direct on-site installation; on-site fabrication is not allowed. Hot work is prohibited on-site.
